OPEN TO STUDENTS IN YEAR 12 OR EQUIVALENT

24 July 2024 - 26 July 2024 8am-5pm

Meet other students from across the country, live and sleep onsite in halls of residence, try subject tasters in our industry-standard facilities, take part in social activities, and speak to our current students about life at UoG.

A travel bursary of up to £50 is available to help with the cost of transport to and from the University.

Our subject workshops are a great opportunity to learn more about your subject of interest and experience student life at the University.

You’ll attend 4 workshops, which are all practical, interactive, and taught by lecturers who run those courses.

You’ll gain hands-on experience which can be included in your personal statement if you decide to apply through UCAS.

The Year 12 Residential has subject-specific strands that change each year – students need to pick 1 to attend on their application form. The options are:

  • Communication: e.g. Journalism, Creative Writing, English, Comms and Media
  • Crime: e.g. Law, Forensic Psychology, Criminology, Professional Policing
  • Digital: e.g. Gaming, Artificial Intelligence, Motion Capture, VR Production
  • Health: e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Sports Therapy, Paramedic Science

Online applications for our summer residential are open until May 6 2024.
