Open to students in Years 10 and 11
Are you currently studying art, design or media GCSEs?
Maybe you do something creative outside of school such as drama, comic drawing or photography?
Are you interested in behind the scenes of photography or TV studios, or how those injuries look real on Casualty?
Any of the above? Or maybe you are just interested in finding out a bit more about creative areas in a hands-on and fun way……
We are offering you the chance to join us on our four-week, totally FREE Creative Industries Saturday Studios.
Sessions for 2023 are still be to be confirmed but previous events have covered different creative topics such as;
· games design
· advertising
· photography
· special effects make up
· television production
· graphic design
· journalism
· animation

When and where:
Dates: Every Saturday in March 2023 from 10am - 3pm
Location: TBC - Venues likely to be in Cheltenham
Why take part?
You will get to see and use some great bits of kit which are used by those in the industry. The people running the sessions are passionate about their subjects and can give you real insight into those areas. You will get to see what careers in those areas look like and develop lots of skills to put in future CVs and applications for colleges and universities.
PLEASE NOTE:
All sessions will be fully risk assessed and staff running the event have the necessary Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks in place, where required.
To register interest follow the "Book Online" link above - please note this is to register interest and does not guarantee you/your young person a place. Priority will be given to those pupils who meet certain postcode criteria and who indicate that they are able to attend all scheduled dates.
