This event is all about supporting your students to connect with higher education. The open-day style experience is designed to inspire confidence in your students, spark their curiosity, and help them to take their first steps towards higher education.
Students are encouraged to create their own personalised timetable and choose from a range of sessions that best support their interests and progression needs. This independent approach allows them to connect with higher education in a way that feels relevant and meaningful to them.
Sessions on offer:
- Campus tours with Student Ambassadors
- University Information Sessions
- University Essentials - Everything you need to know about university UCAS, student finance and living arrangements at university
- Personal Statements - A session looking at how to structure and write a strong personal statement
- Affording University Life (NEW) - This talk will explore the financial aspects of university, including budgeting and money saving tips
- Choosing Your University & Course - A workshop exploring how to choose your ideal university and course
- Student Life Talks and Live Q&A sessions with our Student Ambassadors

This event will take place across our Oxstalls (Gloucester) and Park (Cheltenham) campuses. The campus you attend will be determined by which subjects your students are interested in. We have made the event start and finish times flexible so that you can do two drop-offs and pick-ups to ensure all students can make the most of their visit.
Subjects at each campus:
Oxstalls Campus: Sport, Business, Law, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Criminology, PFA, Health, Social Work, Psychology, Education, and Sociology.
Park Campus: Media, Music, Art, Design, Computing, Cyber, Games Technologies, Bioscience, Geography, ACE, English, Film/TV, History, RPE, Journalism, and Photography.
Teachers / Advisors: While your students are busy you can join our futures team on either campus for a CPD session and then network with fellow staff who are also helping their students to connect higher.
Event times: 10:00am - 2:30pm.
Bookings close on the 5th June.
