Tomorrow's Engineers

More than a one-stop-shop for information and resources about careers available in engineering, Tomorrow’s Engineers is led by EngineeringUK and the Royal Academy of Engineering, with support from other organisations.

The Historical Association

This page provides a range of resources, organised by school year group, to encourage students to pursue history-based study and careers.

National STEM Centre

The National STEM Centre houses the UK’s largest collection of STEM teaching and learning resources, in order to provide teachers of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) with the ability to access a wide range of high-quality support materials.

STEMNET

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Linking with state-maintained secondary schools across the UK, STEMNET helps young people and their teachers access a range of STEM enrichment and enhancement (E&E) opportunities including STEM Clubs, links with STEM Ambassadors and activities featured in the STEM Directories.

Cheltenham Festivals

Supporting all four Cheltenham Festivals, the Education team devises and delivers an exciting programme of activity for schools and other groups in Gloucestershire and sometimes further afield.

British Film institute (BFI)

The BFI is a charity promoting greater understanding and appreciation of, and access to, film and moving image culture in the UK.

The Creative Industries

A partnership of government and industry working together to bring great creative stories from the UK to the world. The site collates statistics, case studies, relevant news and commentary, predictions and key contact details from these industries. It celebrates both the established figures and rising stars of UK creativity.

CITB

CITB supports training and skills in the construction industry. This site links to apprenticeships and training courses available in this sector, including higher apprenticeships and foundation degrees.

The Royal Society
