If so, then come along to our FREE University Weekend Experience at the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls campus.
It is a non-residential experience which allows you to discover and explore a university campus, as well as finding out more about the facilities and subjects on offer as well as the benefits of higher education through various fun and interactive workshops.
When is it? Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June, 09:30am - 3:30pm on both days
Where is it? University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls campus, GL2 9HW
How to apply? Follow the instructions below on how to apply for a place. If you are worried about coming alone and want a friend to join you, let us know and we’ll see if we can make space for them too
Why take part? You will get a brilliant idea of what it is like to be a university student by meeting new people, exploring the campus and taking part in lots of exciting different activities to that will increase your understanding of higher education and particular subjects.
Priority will be given to those pupils who meet certain postcode criteria (click here for more information) and who indicate that they are able to attend all scheduled dates. If you do not meet the postcode criteria to book then you will be added to a waiting list and will be informed closer to the time if a place is available.

Once we have the required information you will be informed as to whether or not your child has a place and if so, you will receive further details as well as a full consent form.

This event is completely free of charge and the GROWS network will cover all costs including food, transport (where offered) and all activities.
Notes for parents:
Your child / young person should be able to attend all dates in order to take part in this experience
All sessions will be fully risk assessed and all staff delivering the sessions have the necessary Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks in place, where required.
If getting your child to / from this event will be an issue please let us know and we can look into supporting with this.
Priority places are given to those students from certain postcodes.
