Target: Mars 2020

Booking onto this event is restricted by postcode

Open to pupils in Years 9 and 10

The race to Mars provides the backdrop to a spectacular Space Adventure event. This three day experience takes the thrill of a mission to explore an alien planet and adds an adrenaline filled story line that makes for an unforgettable real-life experience for participants. The days are game-like in style, pitting teams of students against one another in a race to have the technology, skills and knowledge to colonise Mars.

Participants will take part in a variety of hands on activities including prototype engineering and testing; emergency blood transfusions and compound ID – micro chemistry!

Imagine competing nations, life and death situations (simulated!), money management, engineering, science, maths, team building and functional skill development – and you are starting to picture Target:Mars.
