Dead on Time

Booking onto this event is restricted by postcode

Open to Year 9 and 10 pupils

Want to be a CSI detective?

This three day challenge sees pupils use criminology and forensic science skills to solve a mysterious death. Using techniques such as DNA and fingerprint analysis, crime scene investigation, and gathering and processing of evidence, teams will work together to reach a conclusion to ensure justice is done.

For an idea of what the event might look like, see below for the video of last year's Dead on Time experience, as well as a teaser trailer for this year.

Dates:

Tuesday 16 April - 10am - 3pm

Wednesday 17 April - 10am - 3pm

Thursday 18 April - 10am - 3pm

All of the above sessions will take place at the University of Gloucestershire's Francis Close Hall campus in Cheltenham.

Please note your child must be able to attend all of the above dates in order to take part in this experience

All sessions will be fully risk assessed and all staff delivering the sessions have the necessary Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks in place, where required.

Priority will be given to those pupils who meet certain postcode criteria (click here for more information) and who indicate that they are able to attend all scheduled dates. If you do not meet the postcode criteria to book then please complete the register of interest form. You will be added to a waiting list and will be informed closer to the time whether a space is available.

Once we have the required information you will be informed as to whether or not your child has a place and if so, you will receive further details as well as a full consent form.
